Hawzah News Agency- The people stood side by side with the farmers across the country against the forced agricultural law against the farmers. Mumbai's land has done its utmost to raise the voice of the farmers. Participants in the protest called Modi and Shah part of the capitalist system. Various speakers and social activists spoke on the topic of working with Mumbai farmers in the AZAAD MAIDAN here. Justice Kolse Patil addressed Modi Shah as the most liar in the world.
Criticizing the Modi government on the agricultural law, he said that it was a conspiracy to hand over the farmers to Adani and Ambani. Adani has been allowed by the government to set up a warehouse for storing grain. The grain will be stored in it. The protest called for the repeal of the black law and assured the government that the people of Mumbai, along with the farmers, were not only involved in the protest but would continue protesting until the outdated law would be repealed. Speaking on behalf of the women in the KISAN Alliance Morcha, Testa Setalvad, while explaining the disadvantages of this black law and Modi's ploy, made several requests to stand up for it till the end.
Burqa-wearing women, including Varsha Vilas and Tanveer Khanum, marched on foot to demand the repeal of the black law.
In this foot march, Maharashtra Samajwadi Party leader and MLA Abu Asim Azmi and Raees Sheikh joined the protest and declared their full support. In his address, he said that only two people in this country are trying to benefit Adani and Ambani. We have to send a message to these agents and brokers that now that the people have woken up, they will overthrow this government and bring in a good one. More than fifty organizations have taken part in the protest. Addressing the protest during the march, Abu Asim Azmi said that the government is arrogant but this arrogance will be a thief because now the people have come with the farmers. The farmers have shown a new way to this country. We are grateful to the farmers that they have awakened the country by protesting.
We demand that the government should take back the black law with its fingernails because it is an anti-farmer law. The stubbornness is intolerable because it has passed the bill in Parliament during the Corona in an unconstitutional manner. This is very worrying. Addressing the gathering in the AZAAD MAIDAN, Abu Asim Azmi challenged that we will not get relaxed unless we destroy the corporate because Modi has formulated a policy to benefit the company so we will teach him a lesson. We need to protest in the streets. Farmers have awakened the whole country. Filmmaker Shushant Singh said that the government has united us all on the issue of farmers. We are grateful to it. We will move forward fast. This is our commitment.
Assemblymember Raees Sheikh, after participating in a foot march in support of the farmers, made it clear that the farmers would struggle till the bill is withdrawn and we in Mumbai are also with them. Addressing the Kisan Alliance Morcha in Azad Maidan, Maulana Syed Athar Ali said that if the anti-farmer black law was enacted, the grain would become more expensive and the capitalists would increase the price of grain by disturbing the buying and selling of grain. If this black law is not abolished, unemployment and economic instability will arise. This law is the law of destruction of the country. This demonstration is not only against the farmers but also against every common property. If we persevere like a plywood wall, the farmer will win. The victory of the farmer is the victory of all of us. Amul Madame said that the BJP government has lifted the ban on hoarding. This is a conspiracy to increase inflation, so this law should be withdrawn. Until the demand is met, the farmers will not end their protest. Farmer leader Amarjit Singh said that the agitation is the agitation of the country, it is not a movement of anyone or a particular class but the voice of the people, therefore this protest has gained strength even on the land of Mumbai. Addressing the huge mob at Azad Maidan, social worker Medha Patkar clarified that today the government has forcibly passed these three bills to benefit the capitalists which are very worrying.
Ambani has a magnificent destination in Mumbai but only seven people in it. They live and have passed anti-poor farmer laws for them. We are struggling against this and this movement will continue. Social worker Teesta Setalvad said that the land of Punjab has been sacrificed by Bhagat Singh and his family for the war of independence. They know that privatization is a step towards slavery. We need to fight this peasant movement more vigorously. The strategy of the movement needs to be developed in the future as well. Addressing the protest, Maulana Aijaz Kashmiri also demanded the repeal of the black agricultural law and said that the protest would continue. "We need to strengthen this movement," he said.
Farid Sheikh, head of the Mumbai Aman Committee, took special care of administration and other administrative matters during the march. He said the farmers' protest would continue till the black law is withdrawn.
Today, on this occasion, this movement has been launched from the land of Mumbai. Addressing the protest, Abdul Haseeb Bhatkar of Jamaat-e-Islami and Kisan Alliance Morcha said that the anti-farmer law should be withdrawn. Farmer leader Pratibhashande has termed Modi a traitor because he only utters words. MLC Vidya Chauhan said that now there is a need to launch a movement against EVM to oust Modi government. She said very briefly that all our efforts should be made to bring justice to the farmers. Let us all stand firm and work together to end this oppression. Tanveer Khanum from Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Mumbai Women's wing said that
We need to fight side by side with the farmers. The revolution brought by Lal Bahadur Shastri needs to be repeated. If these farmers have to fight, there will be the arrival of earthquakes and winds.
During the speech, Dr Saleem Khan criticized this black law in the words as "The law we are opposing is still on the ventilator". Abdul Jaleel Ansari also played a good role in making Morcha Successful.
